Neem Cake

What is Neem Cake?

The use of Neem cake, in its various forms, in gardening and farming for amending the soil is a well-known practice. In many ways, Neem cake is a perfect form of fertilizer. Then, they have high enough levels of NPK nutrients to make them a huge help in organic gardens. Also, they have enough azadirachtin to keep soil pests away. When used with other fertilizers, Neem cake can enhance their efficiency and very slowly release their nutrients. This means that plants benefit from constant access to the nutrients and experience a little risk of getting burned by too much nitrogen exposure.

Benefits of Neem Cake?

  • Neem cakes serve as the soil conditioner and used in agriculture, horticulture, floriculture, and turf industry as an organic fertilizer as well as a natural nematicide. Neem cake composes several micro and macronutrients which makes it an organic fertilizer to control soil based on pathogens and nematodes at the same time.
  • Neem cakes are cost-efficient because the fertilizer in them lasts longer. The Neem cake remains effective until the next crop is planted as of its long sustaining organic fertilizer compounds too. Then this, in turn, cuts the cost of having to add extra nutrients; always a bonus.
  • This soil amendment is two fold and it will provide a better crop yield because it will provide the nutrients that crops need. And, it helps to cure diseases and will control the growth of nematodes and harmful plant pathogens. Plus, the crop yield is15 to 25% higher when using Neem cakes than with any other fertilizer.
